Osh Agabi is the Founder & CEO of Koniku, the world’s first neurocomputing company.
They are building next generation computational platforms with actual biological neurons – wet neurochips.
Koniku views real biological neurons as a material to be engineered just like silicon. We have engineered silicon for the last 60 years and exhausted that value. Building with the most advanced technology known to man – biology, is the next step. Koniku leads that effort with neurons for computation.
In the last 15 years, Osh has worked in robotics, optics, computational neuroscience and bioengineering. He led a cross disciplinary team within industry to develop an in vitro reflex arc for modelling implantable neural chips and completed a design for a peripheral nerve implant.
Osh is a theoretical physicist by training and did a PhD in computational neuroscience and bioengineering at the Imperial college in London.
